Sydney STOPPED the concert as fan suffers cardiac arrest as heart condition causes paramedics to be called in Sydney

A 47-year-old plus size multiple Grammy award winner Adele shocked everyone as she stopped singing in the middle of the concert for paramedics to attend to the collapsed  fan Adele's concert in the ANZ stadium.

Over 95,000 fans had come to see the British singer sensation perform, and had to clear a path to allow the paramedics to treat the woman.

The fan was taken to hospital in a serious condition, and fans said that Adele seemed very upset when she announced the news to the concert-goers.
A witness said she was sitting in the next row to the ill woman.

She said: "She stopped the concert and she was like, 'I'm so sorry but someone got hurt and I have to check they're okay'."

She added that no one had noticed the woman had collapsed until Adele pointed it out.
Another eyewitness said it was initially thought that the woman had suffered some kind of spinal injury as the paramedics brought a stretcher into the arena.

Adele then carried on the show once the woman was treated and taken to hospital, launching into Rolling in the Deep.
She apologised to the crowed and insisted on starting part of the set again.

This was similar to her performance at the Grammy Awards last month when she stopped her tribute to the late George Michael.

She told the crowd that she was "out of tune" and she wanted to do it right for George.
