According to her spokesman he said "We can confirm our client Stephanie Davis today gave birth to a baby boy .
"Mother and baby are doing fine."
The baby is the first to be born of a Celebrity Big Brother couple – Stephanie fell pregnant after splitting from housemate Jeremy McConnell.
However, while Jez is adamant he will support the child – he claims he still isn't sure if the baby is his.
In a statement released Jeremy said: "I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.
"Any timescale for that is in Steph's hands now.
"I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn't hear back."
Pal Jay Roberts, who is godfather to the baby, sparked rumours the birth was underway earlier last week when he gushed on Twitter about how excited he was.
However, fans were left waiting for the announcement as Steph spent two days in labour.
Unfortunately the relationship between Steph and ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, who she insists is the baby’s father, remains strained.
Despite the brunette’s due date rolling round, Jez jetted off to Thailand with a group of pals on Sunday.
While at the airport, he posted a Snapchat captioned "Waiting for you son," with a trio of heart emojis.
An insider fumed: "This is just another example of Jeremy trying to rile Stephanie.
"Even when she is hours away from giving birth, he can't just do the right thing and show her even an ounce of support or respect."

Meanwhile a representative for Jez insisted that he was ready to return to the UK at a moment’s notice.
"Jeremy was in Thailand enjoying a short holiday with friends, which has been booked for sometime. He has an open return ticket should he need to return to the UK before the end of his trip," they said.
The Irish hunk maintains that the baby isn’t his but agreed to take a paternity test and step up to the plate in the event that he is wrong.
On top of several swipes from Jez on social media, Steph endured acute morning sickness during her first and second trimester and even experienced some bleeding.
Fortunately doctors were quick to establish that she was suffering from colitis and the baby was unharmed.
She also had to contend with Braxton Hicks, also know as ghost contractions, which increased in strength and frequency towards the end of the pregnancy.
Steph has been noticeably absent from social media in recent weeks but no doubt her fans will have everything crossed for a bevy of adorable baby pics.
