Chloe Sims broke her silence over Pete Wicks romance after messy Megan McKenna split

Speculation about the 34 year-old TOWIE star Chloe with fellow TOWIE star Pete, after both of them were seen leaving together in a taxi after an event last week.

She said: "There were rumours I got close to Pete at the TRIC Awards, but we're just good mates.

"He was annoyed because it makes him look bad with everything going on with Megan."

The mother of one Chloe, continued in her Star Magazine column: "He'd been in tears that night. As for people saying I'm interfering in their relationship – it's a TV show!"

Pete had arrived at the event that night with co-star James Locke, which was the first sign he and Megan had split.

When asked about their relationship status, he told The Sun: "I'm here with James [Locke] today so you can probably guess my relationship status from that.

"Megan is a good girl, but it's always complicated with her. It's all about to play out on the show."

Pete also said he'd like to do Celebs Go Dating – which suggested he wanted to date other people.

Megan then confirmed their split on Twitter, blasting: "Enough of the s***... yes me and Pete have split. I was keeping quiet out of respect for him.

"But as he's been 'blabbing' and bragging about other TV shows, I will now confirm we are over."
