A NAKED Kate Moss is immortalised in avery lifelike sculpture that’s been unveiled at a London gallery
The super model has been immortalised in the nude, armless sculpture entitled MILF by celebrated artist Edgar Askelovic, and is on show at London’s prestigious Opera Gallery.
The gallery's director, Jean-David Malat was impressed by Askelovic's controversial Diamond Dog inspired sculpture of David Bowie - as half-man, half-dog - and asked the artist to create a piece on the model.
Malat said: 'Edgar drove from Germany with the sculpture to show me. At 29, he is a young artist and this sculpture has been created through photographs alone, which is amazing.
'MILF has no arms, implying both Venus and dummy, simultaneously. Kate Moss could have been a mannequin, but instead she has became a goddess in the fashion industry.'
Askelovic gave an insight into the craft behind it, adding: 'All of my artworks are made by myself, from A to Z. Sculpting, mould-making, casting, colouring, sanding, polishing and crate making.
'Many artists and hyperrealistic sculptors use factories to produce their art, with some of them using already existing body parts such as eyes and teeth.'
Askelovic shot to fame with his hyperrealistic sculptures of Andy Warhol as an 83-year-old man, Queen Elizabeth as a begger, Amy Winehouse in a flower-festooned tomb and David Bowie.

The artist, who completed a fine art degree at Birmingham University, moved to the UK in 2009 as an exchange student but decided to say because there was more freedom here than in his native homeland.
