Michelle pulled down her bikini bottoms and exposed her intimate tan lines– and it majorly backfires

The 37 year-old mum-of-two and Liberty X songstress took to Instagram to show off her painful sunburn after falling asleep during a sunbathing session.

Naturally, Michelle was in the teeniest two-piece for the tanning session, with the mum-of-two revealing her smokin' hot bikini bod.

With her eye-popping cleavage highlighted by the redness, the fitness expert insisted she was wearing factor 20 sun lotion and "didn't mean to fall asleep".

Oozing body confidence, Michelle appeared to be make up free as she flashed a smile at the camera.

However, not all of Michelle's 134,000 were thrilled with her display.

Some thought the pose was way too "graphic" for Instagram, while others thought it was careless considering her previous cancer scare.

The english pop star had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery after finding out she had a mutated BRCA2 gene.

This meant she had an 80% chance of developing breast cancer and a 30% chance of developing ovarian cancer.

Following the double mastectomy, in 2015 Michelle had a complete hysterectomy and oophorectomy to reduce her cancer risk.

Concerned, her followers warned her of the risks: "Michelle I am surprised at you. Given your health scares I would think you would be more careful – sunburn is so dangerous."

And one commented: "Why do you need to show us your f***y? So inappropriate."

Michelle was quick to defend her pic, saying it was "no more than wearing a low hung bikini bottoms" and soon her loyal fans jumped in too.

"You put so much work into having a fit and healthy body so why would you not show it off? You look incredible," one fan gushed.

Another wrote: "Ignore the petty haters...you have an incredible body and there's nothing wrong with showing off your hard work."

While one said: "Gosh some people need to get out more and live a little! I mean god forbid you are enjoying the sun @wonderwomanshel and have white bits!"
