Gigi Hadid is forced to walk the catwalk on tip toes as she LOSES her heel before the Anna Sui show at New York Fashion Week
The L.A born model didn't miss a step at New York Fashion Week, despite losing her heel before stepping onto the Anna Sui catwalk.
Proving the consummate professional, Gigi was forced to imitate the heel height of her left shoe by walking on the tip of her toes in nothing but black stockings.
It's not clear whether Gigi's shoe came off at the head of the runway or whether she did not have time to complete the quick changes, but she avoided holding up the show by going out, regardless.
It's not the first time Gigi has faced complications with costumes on the catwalk. At the Moschino show in February, the model managed to keep her composure - and her balance - when her heel got caught in fringing of her drop hem dress.
Just as she did on that AW18 showcase, Gigi kept her 'blue steel' intact as she modeled an asymmetrical, gold sequin dress for Anna Sui SS18.
The outfit was layered under a velvet tassel jacket and would have been completed with two peep wedges that featured a chunky ankle strap were it not for the wardrobe malfunction.
Her long blonde hair was styled in voluminous cascading waves to go with the retro look.
She was joined on the runway by her model sister Bella, 20.
The sisters modeled an array of styles from the designer, with looks ranging from hippie-inspired to vintage glam.
In another look, Gigi was styled in a sheer patterned dress, complete with a circle and star design. The stunner layered a blue, decorate cape over her look, complete with a floral trim. The Los Angeles native added extra height to her 5ft 10in frame with a set of platform heels.
Bella was styled in a three-quarter sleeve black top, complete with an earth-inspired, orange design.
The star's shoulder-length locks were worn down and she accessorized with a feather and bead necklace.
