The rock ‘n Roll legend, Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr, a.k.a Chuck Berry has died.
Emergency services were called to a medical emergency at his home in US state of Missouri after he was discovered unresponsive just after midday on Saturday.
Upon arrival they disscovered him unresponsive.
In a statement released via Facebook they said: "Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques.
"Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1.26pm."
After focussing on music for half a decade, Chuck's big break came in 1955 she he met blues musician Muddy Waters and producer Leonard Chess during a trip to Chicago.
From then on the musician enjoyed a seven-decade career with countless hits including Johnny B Goode and Roll Over Beethoven.
In 1984 he received a lifetime achievement Grammy.
Two years later he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. RIP. Chucks
